Defender Anna Patten is set to miss the remainder of the season after suffering with glandular fever. Patten, who joined Aston Villa on loan from Arsenal in January, has made eight appearances for the Villans this season, however has not featured since mid-March.

An Aston Villa statement commented that “the decision has been taken in the best interest of Anna's long-term health.”
